AIPMA On Various Trade Bodies


  • Federation of Association of Small Industries of India (FASII)

Established in 1959, FASII is the apex body of micro, small, village, cottage, and rural enterprises in the country. This organization is sponsored by the government of India. FASII headquarters are in Delhi and is given representation in all council and committees related with micro and small enterprises.


  • Indian Merchants’ Chamber

Indian Merchant’ Chamber is an organization that represents the interests of Indian trade, commerce, and industry. It was established in 1907 in Mumbai with the aim of pursuing the agenda of identifying opportunities, addressing any problems, and drive businesses keeping sustainable growth in mind.


  • Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)

Established by the Indian government with the assistance of UNDP, the primary objective of CIPET is to develop manpower in different disciplines of plastics engineering & technology. It is one of the most successful UNDP projects around the world.


  • Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)

Micro, small, and medium enterprises play a crucial role in the Indian economy by providing employment opportunities and promoting industrialization of rural regions. The ministry is aimed at promoting such enterprises by providing support and introducing policies to encourage creation of new enterprises.



Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is the largest and oldest business organization in India. This non-profit was established in 1927 and is considered to be the voice of India’s business and industry.

Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) was set up in 1965. It directly and indirectly serves the interest of 100,000 exporters from all sectors of the industry.

ASSOCHAM is a major source of knowledge for the Indian industry with the aim to redefine the dynamics of growth and development in today’s digitized economy.


  • Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

The Confederation of Indian Industry is a non-profit, non-government, and industry-managed organization that works with the Indian government on policy issues. It has been a major catalyst of change in India’s economic policy reforms.


  • Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)

The bureau of Indian Standards was established under the BIS Act of 1986.  BIS aims to bring harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality `certification of goods.
