On 16th January, 2010, Half Day Seminar "Latest Trends in Packaging, Waste Management and Recycling" in Association with Kerala Plastic Manufacturers' Association was conducted in Hotel Presidency, Cochi from 3.30 PM to 7.00 PM.

Prof. M. T. Thomas, President of KPMA welcomed Dr. M. B. Parmar, President of AIPMA and Mr. Mahyur D. Shah, Hon. Secretary of AIPMA. Dr. M. B. Parmar also addressed the delegates explaining the purpose of seminar. Mr. Mahyur D. Shah expressed the vote of thanks. It was a surprise that Delegates from long distances even 400 km attended it. 42 Delegates from Kalicat - 220 Km away from Cochi, attended by a Bus the Seminar at 4.00 PM. Mr. Raja Shah Chairman of Seminar Committee at the end of 1st lecture, extended warm welcome to this group from stage and as a mark of respect served a cup of coffee to everyone. We had expected 200 Delegates and finally we had to make an extra arrangements to accommodate 252 delegates. Many delegates complimented us for the Papers being presented as per their expectation. The Seminar was concluded by a special thanks to Mr. P. J. Mathew, immediate Past President of KPMA for his excellence co-operation and arrangements of the Seminar. President Prof. M. T. Thomas KPMA specially facilited Mr. Raja Shah for arranging such a nice Seminar to the best satisfaction of the Delegates.
